A week-long conference between 20-24th June 2022 was held at the main campus of Technical University Dortmund on the topic “Sustainable Relations – Sustainable Actions: Interdisciplinary Approaches in Studying Institutional Change and Social Practice” organized jointly by the Technical University Dortmund and University of Bielefeld, Germany supported by the VolkswagenStiftung, Germany as part of the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (www.cac-project.org). The project aims to support the academic careers of the next generation of Central Asian and Caucasus academics. Fellows were chosen in a Selection Workshop that took place in November 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany.
From the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, the head of the Department of Geoecology, Professor Dr. Christopher Conrad along with his team member Dr. Ing. Muhammad Usman and postdoctoral fellow Dr. Murodjon Sultanov from the University of Urgench, Uzbekistan participated in the conference. Dr. Sulatnov is working on the topic “OPtimization of Crop Modeling using synthetic high-resolution time series (OPCM)” from May 2019.
