On November 6th, the AgriSens DEMMIN 4.0 project team organized this year’s field day to present the scientific results in a low-threshold and practice-oriented environment. This time we were guests at the Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für Tierzucht und Tierhaltung (LVAT) e.V. in Groß Kreutz near Brandenburg (Havel). In addition to specialist presentations, the focus was on the exhibition of the developed approaches, prototypes and services with the aim of highlighting the benefits of the individual topics for agricultural practice. The geoecology working group presented the services and methods developed for UAV-based stone detection (use case 3) and for site-specific estimation of irrigation requirements (use case 4), as well as the possibilities of a digital DataCube infrastructure as a synergy topic. The more than 100 guests from agricultural practice, consulting, services, science and politics were able to learn about the approaches developed and exchange ideas for new collaborations. We would like to thank the LVAT for providing the premises and hospitality, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food for the opportunity to promote the intensive exchange of knowledge, the AgriSens consortium for the organization, as well as the other projects present for the cooperation and look forward to the AgriSens final conference on 25 February 2025 in Neubrandenburg.
