On 25.02.2025, the final symposium at the end of the ‘AgriSens DEMMIN 4.0’ project took place at the University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg. The project team presented and discussed the results from five years of applied research on digitalisation in agriculture.
The department of Geoecology was represented by colleagues Prof Dr Christopher Conrad, Dr Julia Pöhlitz, Dr Mike Teucher, Jan Lukas Wenzel and Johannes Löw. Dr Detlef Thürkow from the Digital Geography working group was also represented. As part of the event, we were able to present the results from the use cases ‘Stone Detection’ and ‘Irrigation Management’ to a broad specialist audience and categorise our results in the context of the actual needs of agricultural practice in two panel discussions.
We would like to thank the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences for organising the event and for their hospitality, as well as the participating project partner institutions for their cooperation over the past few years.
