As part of the
Geographical Colloquium, the Geoecology working group welcomed Mr. Martin
Eckhard from the regional development agencies Region Heide and Lebens- und
Wirtschaftsraum Rendsburg in Schleswig-Holstein to give a lecture on Thursday,
05.06.2025. Mr. Eckhard reported in detail on his previous and planned future
work on the handling of various funding programs for municipalities and
regional economic development. The focus was on the various aspects associated
with the development, establishment, implementation and value creation of
renewable energies and the extent to which these regional transformation
processes can be supported. We would like to thank Mr. Eckhard for his
willingness and the insights he provided and look forward to working with him
in the future.
