Since our department is a member of EARSeL, Johannes Löw represented us at the 44th EARSeL Symposium in Prague this year. There, he presented parts of his doctoral thesis and project work. As part of the ZAZIkI project, his work in the field of earth observation, focusing on deriving phenological times from radar time series, will be transferred to southern Saxony-Anhalt.
As in previous years, there were many interesting and impressive presentations, as well as lively exchanges with colleagues from around the world. We would therefore like to thank the hosts for organizing such a successful event. We look forward to seeing you again in Athens in 2026. As they say, “After the conference is before the conference.” We are already preparing for the ESA LPS in Vienna.
