Enjoying sunshine, pizza and cool drinks, the team of Droughtmap-ASB developers met last Tuesday to review the work of the past months and rejoice in what has been achieved.
Droughtmap-ASB is a drought monitoring system for Central Asia, which is currently implemented in the “Green Central Asia” initiative of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany in the project CAWaGreen (http://www.cawa-project.net/). The user interface, database and the core of the online app contain a substantial contribution from students of computer science and geography at MLU.
