Junior scientists of the working group Geoecology organized the I. PhD excursion to the Harz Mountains. From Schierke, we went via the “Alte Bobbahn” to the paek and back down the “Eckerlochstieg”. During the excursion, the formation and the importance for our climate in the “Mitteldeutsches Trockengebiet” was explained. Of course, the influence of humans on the ecosystem and approaches to environmental protection were also discussed.
We graduate students would like to thank everyone who joined us, from professor, post-doc, Phd-student to student assistant.
We are already looking forward to the next field trip in 2024.
