During this year’s field campaign in June 2022, ReKKS project scientists managed to conduct the in-situ experiments with the mobile wind tunnel at another test site. Using the wind tunnel on a variety of fields north of Pavlodar allowed the expand the study area and to investigate the erosion risk for different initial conditions (texture and management. The wind tunnel passed the test and can be called “mobile” after traveling over 1000 km travel in the dry steppe of Kazakhstan.
