Einsatz von Fernerkundungstechnologien für die Digitalisierung im Pflanzenbau

Der globale Wandel hat eine Reihe von Umweltveränderungen befördert, wie z.B. den Klimawandel, Veränderungen der Wasserressourcen, der chemischen Zusammensetzung der Atmosphäre, der Ökosysteme und letztendlich auch der landwirtschaftlichen Produktivität. Die Globalisierung und die Anpassung an veränderte Umweltbedingungen haben zu einschneidenden Veränderungen in agrarischen Wirtschaftsformen geführt. Effiziente und nachhaltige Lösungen zur Anpassung an die Auswirkungen des globalen Wandels zu finden, ist eine der wichtigsten Herausforderungen des 21. Jahrhunderts. Dabei spielt die Digitalisierung in der Landwirtschaft eine entscheidende Rolle.

Hintergrund und Ziele:

Aus dem Zusammenspiel von Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Endanwender sollen im Rahmen von AgriSens – DEMMIN 4.0 aktuelle und zukünftige Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung angegangen werden. Der Fokus liegt auf der Erzeugung und Nutzung von Geodaten, da diese als Grundlage für ein effizientes Management der landwirtschaftlichen Fläche essenziell sind. Sie fließen in vielfältiger Weise, z.B. zur Positionsbestimmung von Fahrzeugen, zur Planung von Beprobungen, zur Erfassung von Boden- und Pflanzenzuständen sowie zur Abschätzung von Erträgen, bereits heute in die Betriebsabläufe ein. Vielfach liefern dazu Satelliten und zunehmend auch autonom operierende Flugobjekte (UAV) die Datengrundlagen.

Teilziele:

Mit dem geplanten Experimentierfeld AgriSens – DEMMIN 4.0 adressieren wir Schwerpunkte für den Bereich des Pflanzenbaus in Bezug auf Digitalisierungsthemen bis hin zu End-to-End-Lösungen von Geoinformationsdaten. Ziel ist es, Anwendungsfälle von Fernerkundungsdaten Satelliten- und UAV- gestützter Systeme für konkrete Fragen des Pflanzenbaus genau zu definieren, Methoden weiter- und neu zu entwickeln und dieses Wissen jedem Interessierten unkompliziert zur Verfügung zu stellen. Damit erwarten wir, die Akzeptanz und die Nutzung dieser wertvollen Datenquellen zur Optimierung von betrieblichen Abläufen im digitalen Pflanzenbau zu stärken. Daraus resultierend, sind die Schwerpunkte des Experimentierfelds:

  • Analyse zum Stand der Nutzung von Geoinformationsdaten in der Landwirtschaft
  • Schaffung methodischer Grundlagen
  • Konzeption und Umsetzung von Anwendungsbeispielen als Potenzialdemonstratoren
  • Analyse von Verwertungspotenzialen in der Wirtschaft
  • Konzeption und Aufbau von Demonstrationsservices
  • Wissens- und Technologietransfer von der Wissenschaft zu Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft
Methodischer Ansatz:

Das Experimentierfeldes AgriSens DEMMIN 4.0 umfasst die angewandte Forschung auf Basis der methodischen Grundlagen mit dem Fokus auf die definierten Anwendungsfälle. Die hierbei zu entwickelnden Demonstratoren umfassen sowohl die methodischen als auch technischen Teilkomponenten inklusive der Validierung der Ergebnisse und Analysen zur Übertragbarkeit auf andere Agrarräume. Einzelne Anwendungen sollen zu prototypischen Services weiterentwickelt werden, welche durch die Bereitstellung geeigneter Schnittstellen einfach in betriebliche Entscheidungsprozesse integrierbar sind.

Erwartete Ergebnisse:

Die MLU ist im Rahmen von AgriSens – DEMMIN 4.0 in folgenden Arbeitspaketen vertreten, bzw. leitet diese:
