On 16.11. and 17.11.2023, our collegues of the Department of Geoecology participated at this year’s AgriTechnica convention in Hanover as part of the “AgriSens-DEMMIN 4.0” project. AgriTechnica is the world’s leading convention for agriculture and agricultural technology. The visit to various exhibitioners enabled an intensive exchange on the latest innovations in agricultural technology as well as developments in the field of digitalization in various crop farming issues. The integration of digital possibilities and the importance of geographical issues and data were discussed intensively with representatives from various exhibitors. The AgriSens-DEMMIN 4.0-project was also represented as part of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture’s cross-experimental stand on scientific research on digitalization in agriculture and practice transfer.
